New Working Committee on Maritime Security established

To ensure a more proactive approach on the issue of maritime security, the CoESS Board has decided to establish a new CoESS Working Committee on Maritime Security.

In accordance with the CoESS Statutes, the Board has entrusted Mr. Iskender TARGAC, President of the Turkish member federation GUSOD, with the ad interim mission of making the new Working Committee operational.

The official election and nomination of the Chairman of the New Working Committee, will take place at the next CoESS General Assembly in Madrid on 13 October 2004.

All interested CoESS member federations are invited to participate at the activities of the new Working Committee.
