At the First National Meeting of the Private Security Industry in Bulgaria, an important Joint Declaration was signed by the different employers’ organisations representing the private security companies

At the initiative of NAFTSO, CoESS member organisation, an important national meeting took place in Sofia, Bulgaria, on last 1st December 2005, bringing together for the first time representatives of the private security companies (represented within NAFTSO, the most representative organisation, and into some smaller associations), the national police authorities, high level representatives of the political bodies responsible for private security, academics and experts. At the outcome of the meeting, a Declaration was signed by all representatives of the industry. The Declaration addresses the current problems the private security market in Bulgaria is facing, defines the objectives of the sector related to the necessary developments of the industry and lists the engagement of the signing parties to reach these objectives.
