Objectives
The purpose of CoESS is to ensure in Europe the defence
of the interests of the organisations and national companies that provide
security services in all their forms and to represent these joint interests,
in particular, through involvement in the work aimed at the harmonisation
of national legislation concerning the activities of its members.
In order to meet this objective, CoESS intends :

to carry out any professional, economic, commercial,
legal, social, or other research concerning the activities of its
members;

to gather and distribute to its members any information
concerning their sectors of activity; - to represent and to ensure
the defence of its members with European and international organisations;
- to define and promote the joint positions of its members as regards
Community and European policy concerning their sectors of activity
as with any other national or international organisations;

to increase the quality level of the entire industry,
including through standardisation of regulations.
