CoESS and SIA Bring EU and U.S. Perspectives Together on Trustworthy AI in Security

How can the security industry make greater use of AI while ensuring trust, responsibility and legal certainty? On 25 September, from 17:00 to 18:00 CET, CoESS and the Security Industry Association (SIA) will bring together experts from the EU and the United States to discuss how regulation and innovation can support the responsible deployment of AI in security.

The webinar, “Driving Trustworthy AI Adoption in Security: EU and U.S. Perspectives on Regulation and Responsible Deployment”, will compare the evolving regulatory frameworks on both sides of the Atlantic and what they mean for companies today. The discussion will also explore promising AI use cases in security services and the conditions needed to enable stronger uptake and innovation.

Speakers will include Kai Zenner, Digital Policy Advisor and Head of Office to MEP Axel Voss, Jake Parker from the Security Industry Association, Alexander Frank, Deputy Director of CoESS, and a senior representative of the U.S. Administration. The session will offer a timely transatlantic perspective on how regulation, operational needs and technological innovation can be brought together to support trustworthy AI adoption in the security sector.
